Record of scandal hit Punjab companies handed over to NAB

LAHORE: The investigation of Punjab companies’ scandal is currently underway and according to the latest development, the complete record of the companies involved has been handed over to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) for further processing.

The Joint Stock Companies registrar has handed overall record of the companies registered with Punjab government to NAB. It has also been revealed that 17 of these companies have been registered as non-profit organisations.

The details for companies’ memorandum has also been provided to NAB. All companies have been registered according to the Act of 2017, Section 42.

NAB officials are confident about the fairness of investigation into this mega-scandal.
