KARACHI: Pakistan Navy divers recovered the body of a drowned child from a nullah in Samanabad Buffer zone, Karachi, after an elongated diving operation, says a press release issued by the Naval Headquarters, Islamabad.
On the request of the Karachi commissioner, the navy provided a diving team to search and recover the drowned child.
Consequently, after a long and tedious diving operation, the dead body of the unfortunate drowned child was recovered and handed over to the parents.
The navy also dispatched another diving team to undertake diving operation at Haroonabad nullah, SITE Area, to recover the body of the drowned child. Diving operation is underway.
“Pakistan Navy remains spearheaded to provide humanitarian assistance to the civil populace in the hour of need upon the request of the civic administration,” the communique read.
