LAHORE: Adviser to chief minister Khawaja Ahmad Hassaan paid a visit to the newly named Beijing underpass to review remaining construction and decorative work.
Hassaan reviewed all the tasks under progress for Beijing Underpass along with Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Chief Engineer Israr Saeed.
The chief engineer briefed Khawaja Ahmad Hassaan about the underpass’s construction and the time it will take to finish all its work. He also reassured the advisor about the usage of good quality materials in all the construction projects being undertaken in the city.
Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif had renamed Chubacha underpass as Beijing underpass earlier this month. The underpass is set to be inaugurated on Nov 25 and according to reports is going to be the largest underpass in the metropolis.
