LAHORE: Inspector General of Prisons Mirza Shahid Baig has ordered an inquiry against his Personal Assistant (PA) for allegedly harassing a female clerk.
Junior Clerk Sadia Noreen has accused Waris Ali Shahzad of harassing her through different means and filed an application against him. In the application, she alleged that the personal assistant got her transferred many times and blackmailed her because he has a connection with high-ranking officers in the department.
She said that the personal assistant asks her to work after office timings since she refuses to elope with him. She said that he threatens her to get her fired from the job and asked her to befriend with him. She also accused him of eloping with other girls.
She requested the IG to order an inquiry against him. Taking notice of her application, the IG has ordered the inquiry against the personal assistant.
