KARACHI: A suspected robber was tortured to death by an angry mob in Shah Faisal Colony area of the city on Thursday.
Sources said that two robbers were fleeing after looting and injuring a citizen near Azeempura graveyard in Shah Faisal Colony. The area people chased suspected robbers, overpowered one of them, beat him ruthlessly and tried to set him on fire but police stopped them.
He suffered severe injuries while his accomplices fled the scene.
The injured was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries.
