MIRPUR: Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, while addressing an event in Mirpur Sakro, said Tuesday that no one wants the upcoming general elections to be delayed.

Reacting to political rival Imran Khan who is demanding snap elections, the chief minister remarked that “PTI’s job is to deceive people.”

Murad also said that he shared reservations regarding the recently-conducted census in his meeting with Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.

Speaking regarding the development projects in Thatta, he said the road from Karachi to Thatta was being constructed for the betterment of the people, adding that it would provide convenience to people of the area.

Murad also shared that the construction of a dual-carriageway from Thatta to Hyderabad was being planned.

On the Keti Bander project, the CM said that the projects included construction of port among other projects. “Keti Bander has space for 50,000 megawatt power plant,” he added.
