MIRPUR SAKRO: Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said on Tuesday that no one wants the upcoming 2018 general elections to be delayed.

He said this while addressing an event in Mirpur Sakro.

Reacting to political rival Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), who is demanding snap elections, he remarked that “PTI deceives people.” He informed that he shared reservations about the recently conducted census in his meeting with Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.

Speaking about the development projects in Thatta, he said that the road from Karachi to Thatta was being constructed for the betterment of the people. He added that the road will provide convenience to the people.

Murad also shared that the construction of a dual-carriageway from Thatta to Hyderabad was also being planned.

On the Keti Bandar project, he said that the project included construction of port among other projects. “Keti Bander has space for a 50,000-megawatt power plant,” he added.

He also said that the project was the dream of deceased party leader Benazir Bhutto. “We will complete the project at all costs,” he added.
