ISLAMABAD: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Justice (r) Javed Iqbal Monday directed the officials concerned to challenge the Balochistan government’s decision that declared the house of former adviser on finance Mir Khalid Langu, involved in a mega corruption scam, as a sub-jail.
According to details, the Balochistan NAB had prepared a legal application to challenge the administrative orders of the provincial government.
NAB had stated in the application that former adviser to Balochistan government on finance Mir Khalid Langu was allegedly involved in mega corruption scam, and the provincial government was giving him unnecessary facilities by declaring his house as a sub-jail.
It further said that the decision was a hindrance in the way of free and transparent accountability, adding that these facilities should be withdrawn immediately.
