KARACHI: The hepatitis control programme in Sindh is further being strengthened to control the rapidly growing disease of hepatitis B and C in the province.
According to a report, over five million school going children, four hundred thousand people from the general population, and seventy-five thousand people from the high-risk population will be vaccinated against hepatitis during the current financial year.
Besides that, twenty-five thousand jail inmates and twenty-five hundred hemophilic patients will also be vaccinated against hepatitis B and C.
