KARACHI: Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) leader Anees Qaimkhani has opened a new Pandora’s box by claiming that some leaders of Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) are still in contact with party founder, Altaf Hussain.

Anees Qaimkhani alleged that the MQM-P received its new policy from London which refrained it from merging with PSP. He said that negotiations between both parties would have been completed had the directions from London not come.

In a TV interview, Qaimkhani said PSP Chairman Mustafa Kamal is not the one to conspire against others, he does everything openly.

Earlier, Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) chief Farooq Sattar and Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) Chairman Mustafa Kamal had said they had decided to do away with their differences to ensure that the vote bank from Sindh and Karachi is not divided, announcing an alliance between the two parties.

However, only a day after the announcement, Sattar had said that his party was left disappointed.

On Saturday, Kamal had alleged that the military establishment had pressed his party to form an alliance with the Farooq Sattar-led MQM-P upon Sattar’s request, as the MQM-P denied seeking a merger between the two parties and accused Kamal of hurling serious allegations against state institutions.

  1. This was very obvious. Farooq Sattar is a goof and staged a stupid drama the other night. His panic was so intense that he didn’t spare his very old mother and his wife and brought them along. I think the RAW agent has threatened this joker like he did in mid nineties but he got away that time and instead a good Pakistani was killed by Altaf. This is similar case and F Sattar has again survived. But not for long I suppose because Altaf is a mean person and he knows F Sattar is not far behind.
