KARACHI: Sindh Inspector General of Police (IGP) AD Khawaja has ordered that security arrangements be levelled up following the blast in Quetta on Thursday.
A police statement here said that the IGP has directed for extraordinary security at all important places in the province, such as sensitive installations, government and semi-government buildings, railways stations, airports, industrial and commercial centres, places of worship and markets.
The IGP also called for improvement in snap checking, patrolling and surprise checking and called for deployment of security personnel to be enhanced.
