RAWALPINDI: The Frontier Corps on Thursday conducted an intelligence-based operation in Zhob district of Balochistan and recovered an improvised explosive device planted on a motorcycle, said a statement released by the military’s media wing.
The IED was hidden in a storm drain and covered with bushes, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in the statement.
Pakistan had launched a nationwide military operation Radd-ul-Fasaad in February 2017, which was based on broad-spectrum security and counter-terrorism operations in Punjab, and continuation of ongoing operations across the country.
