ISLAMABAD: Capital Development Authority (CDA) has formally started the process for regularisation of non-permanent employees.

CDA Administration member Muhammad Yasir Peerzada expressed these views while chairing a meeting to review the process for regularisation of non-permanent employees. CDA Environment Wing director general was specifically called for this meeting to be briefed about vacant positions available in the authority’s environment department.

All directorates of the authority have been directed to forward information regarding vacant positions to Human Resources Development (HRD) directorate immediately.

According to details, the process for induction of non-permanent employees against the vacant posts would follow subsequently. A letter to this effect had been issued and circulated among all directorates of the authority. All departments were directed by the officials concerned to submit details of vacant posts without further delay.

Peerzada said that non-permanent employees of the authority deserved the maximum attention of policy makers, while adding that the ground for regularisation of non-permanent employees had already been prepared.

He said that the CDA board had adopted the Cabinet Secretariat letter to this effect, adding that the process for regularisation should therefore be initiated without any reservation.

HRD directorate issued a circular directing all departments of the authority to prepare a list of vacant posts in their respective directorates.

The format for provision of data had also been provided to each directorate. Through the same circular, each directorate had been given 10 days to provide subject information in this connection.

The directorates have also been directed to provide information regarding vacant posts, grades of eligible persons, name of person(s) shortlisted for the vacant posts, and contract/daily wages details against the said post. The directorates have further been ordered to provide provincial quota against the posts.
