LAHORE: “The return of former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif has disappointed some people,” said Maryam Nawaz on Thursday.

Talking to reporters on her visit to the NA-120 constituency, Maryam said to keep out someone from power is not in the hands of any person, but Allah and the masses.

Maryam showed her gratitude to the PML-N loyalists in the constituency during her visit and assured them that their issues would be resolved soon along with promises of launching development projects in the constituency.

It may be mentioned here that Nawaz Sharif’s wife Begum Kulsoom Nawaz, who is in London for cancer treatment, won NA-120 by-election on a seat that fell vacant after Nawaz was disqualified by Supreme Court’s (SC) July 28 judgment in the Panamagate graft case.
