KARACHI: Faisal Kapadia and Bilal Maqsood on Sunday bid farewell to Coke Studio after being a part of the critically acclaimed show for four years.
They announced this on a Facebook post on Sunday, stating, “Coke Studio Season 10 will be the last season produced by Strings. It has been a fantastic journey for us over the course of four seasons and we are grateful to have had the opportunity to learn and share our work with all of you.”
Strings took over the show in 2014 following the departure of the initial producers Rohail Hyatt, Shahzad Hasan and Rizwan-ul-Haq (Vital Signs) in 2013.
People, however, had a lot to say on this matter and not everything was positive.

However, not all is lost since the band presumably has other things planned for the fans.
“2018 will mark 30 years of Strings and we are super excited to celebrate with all of you so stay tuned for more updates as we embark on yet another exciting chapter in our musical journey!” the Facebook post concluded.
