LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has congratulated the national cricket team for their victory against Sri Lanka in the T-20 match and series.
He said the national team has won the match and series due to their hard work and the whole nation is celebrating the victory. He also congratulated Fahim Ashraf for a hat-trick.
He said that he hoped that the national team will whitewash the series after winning the third match.
He also said that excellent arrangements have been made for the third T20 match between Pakistan and Sri Lanka and cricket lovers will enjoy the game in a wonderful environment. He added that cricket lovers were waiting for the arrival of Sri Lankan team from a long time and energetic people of Lahore will give a befitting welcome to the Sri Lankan team.
He said that the way for the restoration of international cricket will strengthen further with the arrival of the Sri Lankan cricket team. He added that the arrival of the visiting team is a matter of pleasure for the nation, and the team and the international broadcasters will depart from Pakistan after taking a message of love and peace.
