LAHORE: Senior judge Yawar Ali has taken oath as acting chief justice (CJ) of the Lahore High Court.
Justice Mohammad Anwarul Haq took the oath from Justice Yawar Ali.
The oath taking ceremony was held in the judges’ lounge of the High Court. The function was attended by judges working on principal seats, LHC registrar, law officers and staffers of the court.
It is pertinent to mention here that LHC CJ Syed Mansoor Ali Shah is in Sri Lanka to participate in the SAARC Conference.
