KARACHI: Sindh Home Minister Suhail Anwar Siyal on Thursday took notice of media reports about girl students’ harassment in Jamshoro Sindh University (SU).
Two girls Rimsha Memon and Naseem Depar, the students of SU had recently disclosed in a letter written to Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi that they are being harassed by some teachers in the university.
The home minister appointed Hyderabad DIG as an enquiry officer and directed him to conduct a probe into the issue and take steps under the law to resolve the issue if any.
