RAWALPINDI: The Airport Security Force (ASF) foiled a bid to smuggle heroin to Abu Dhabi and arrested a passenger at Benazir Bhutto International Airport on Wednesday.
The ASF sources said that during screening of a passenger, identified as Zakir, leaving for Abu Dhabi through a private airline flight, 60 heroin-filled capsules were found in his stomach.
The accused, stated to belong to Nowshera district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, was shifted to Benazir Bhutto Hospital for recovery of the heroin-filled capsules.
