The Law-Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) personnel on Saturday claimed to have foiled a terror bid in the city and arrested two militants allegedly working for banned organisation.
According to the sources, on a tip-off that militants were planning a terror attack in the city, the LEAs personnel conducted a targeted raid at a house in North Karachi’s Industrial Area and apprehended two militants Abdullah and Abdul Rehman.
The LEAs also claimed to have recovered weapons, including three rockets launcher and five landmine bombs from their possession. The detained terrorists were shifted to an undisclosed location for further investigation, police said.
