RAWALPINDI: A passenger van reportedly caught fire on Chakri road on Tuesday morning. However, no casualties were reported during the incident.
As per rescue reports, when the fire erupted in the van, passengers jumped out of the van to escape the fire. While there were no reports of serious causalities, five passengers were administered first-aid for minor injuries. Following the incident, the rescue officials rushed to the scene of the incident to douse the fire.
According to investigation reports, the fire had been caused due to a short-circuiting in the van. The van had been partially damaged in the incident.
