PU Department of Gender Studies organises seminar

The Punjab University Department of Gender Studies’ Gender Research and Counseling Centre, in collaboration with Azimia Rohania Library, organised a seminar on Advancement in Chromotherapy at the department.
Dr Samina Aamir and Asma Azmi Azmat were keynote speakers at the seminar while Department Chairperson Dr Samar Fatima, faculty members and a large number of students were also present on the occasion. Speakers, highlighting the history and treatment method, said that colours had various affects on human lives and colour therapy was purely a scientific treatment method.
They highlighted the use of various colours in treatment of various diseases and said that the younger generation could benefit if colour therapy was included in the syllabus. In her welcome address, Dr Fatima said that God was the light, earth and sky. She said that colours and weather have a deep impact on human lives.

  1. Great to read this page. It is very pleasing to hear that pakistan like countries are conducting research in such a new areas.Colourtherapy has never known as a science before.
