The Sindh High Court on Wednesday issued notices to the Kashmore district police officer (DPO) and other police officials on a constitutional petition filed by a former nazim, accusing them of conducting an illegal raid as well as robbing and harassing him.
Former nazim Kunb Iqbal Jakhrani accused the police officials of conducting an illegal raid at his house and robbing him. He stated that the raid was conducted without a warrant and the police officials had robbed him of valuables. Justice Tasleem Ahmed directed the Kashmore DPO, the Kashmore Investigation DPO, the Bakhshapur deputy superintendent of police and five station house officers of the district to file their comments.
