LARKANA: The so-called democratic government has ruthlessly looted the country after Gen Zia regime and weakened the fundamental constitutional institutions of the state to remain in power due to which the country has reached the verge of destruction.

This was stated by Sindh National Front (SNF) Vice Chairman Ameer Bakhsh Bhutto while addressing a convention of SNF district Kambar-Shahdadkot workers, held here on Thursday. He said, “The judiciary is discharging its constitutional duties and it is hoped that proper accountability process would start soon as its beginning has started from the centre and Punjab.”

Ameer also said that the federal government had lost the moral and political credibility to further remain in power after losing its leader. He added that under those circumstances, the central government should turn to the people for seeking a fresh mandate.

He also said that it would soon be the turn of Sindh rulers after the centre and Punjab because big thieves and looters were sitting in Sindh, adding that if on the basis of Iqama, a prime minister could be disqualified, then a large number of Sindh rulers could also be disqualified.

He also said, “Previously, powerful institutions were thinking that PPP had the Sindh card and if action was taken against them, then the province will react strongly. But when the disqualified prime minister could not raise Punjab against it, then how will Sindh’s inefficient and corrupt rulers be able to do it.”

Dr Roshan Ali Pechuho, Serai Muhammad Saleh Lakho, Irshad Ali Junejo, Mir Hassan Buriro, Piyaral Panhwar, Ghaffar Soomro and others were also present on the occasion.
