BADIN: The Soomro community has held a press conference at Badin Press Club alleging the influential of threatening and forcibly occupying their land.
According to reports, Soomro brethren including Ghulam Hussain Soomro, Ali Akbar Soomro and other residents of village Ghulam Hussain, alleged that an advocate, who deals with the affairs of the government, was threatening the community of dire consequences if they did not vacate a residential land which the community said they owned from 40 years.
They also alleged that the advocate, along with armed men, was harassing them and their family members continuously, adding that their lives were at stake. They appealed to higher authorities to take notice immediately and initiate an investigation into the matter.
