QUETTA: A remote control blast took place when a school bus carrying about 100 children crossed Quetta’s Hana Road on Tuesday.
According to the security personnel, the bus was coming from Sorenje area when the explosion occurred. The school children remained safe during the incident, however, the driver sustained minor injuries who was later shifted to the hospital.
The vehicle was also partially damaged during the blast.
Following the incident, rescue teams along with Levies, police and Frontier Corps officers arrived at the scene of the incident and launched an investigation into the matter.
Balochistan is witnessing violent incidents and targeted killings for over a decade now. More than 1,400 incidents targeting the minority communities – Shia and Hazara have taken place in the province during the past 15 years.
Obviously some Afghan refugees are responsible for such terrorism against our children.
