ISLAMABAD: The 267th session of Senate has started at 03:00 pm on Monday with Senate Deputy Chairman Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri in the chair.
Senate would take up agenda items motions, the introduction of bills, resolutions, legislative business, deferred resolution, bills to be withdrawn and deferred motions.
The deputy chairman also announced the formation of a panel of presiding officers to act in absence of the chairman and deputy chairman of the Senate. The panel consists of Col (retd) Tahir Hussain Mashhadi, Muzaffar Hussain Shah and Mohsin Khan Laghari.
