KARACHI: At least four people, including two women and a child, were killed and 12 others injured when a speeding van overturned after hitting a tree on the outskirts of Badin district on Monday.
Rescue sources said Sapna, 30, Jinnah, 60, Zohaib, 9, Suleman, 65 received fatal injuries and died instantly when the van hit a tree and overturned. The injured persons were shifted to a nearby hospital for medical aid. Officials said that three among the injured were in critical condition and have been rushed to Hyderabad for treatment. The deceased and injured belonged to the same family.
