TAMBOO: “Sacrifices of Pakistan Army and law enforcement agencies are very great. No compromise on country’s stability is acceptable and the Pakistani nation is not afraid of threats emanating from the American president,” said MNA, and former Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Jamali Friday.

He also added that Pervez Musharraf wanted to hand over Dr Qadeer Khan to America but due to the strict opposition he could not be handed over. Dr Qadeer is national hero and nation is proud of his God gifted abilities.

The views were expressed by Jamali while speaking to a programme of a private TV channel.

Jamali said terrorism is not an issue of Pakistan but is of the world. Pakistan was not allowing its soil to be used for terrorism. War of others has been imposed on Pakistan. Pak Army and security institutions are sacrificing their lives for the cleansing country of terrorists. Owing to their sacrifices, the stability of the country and national security is often ensured.

While strongly condemning threats hurled by the American president, Jamali said Pakistan has to prepare its foreign policy afresh regarding America. The Pakistani nation would not be afraid of threats because Pakistan is itself an atomic state and is capable to thwart any possible aggression in its defence.

Zafarullah Jamali revealed that Pervez Musharraf wanted to hand over Dr Qadeer Khan to America but in his capacity as prime minister, he strictly opposed this.
