LAHORE: The 12th death anniversary of famous singer Pervaiz Mehdi will be observed today.
Pervaiz Mehdi had started his career in music, singing the famous song: “Goriye Main Jana Pardes”. He learned singing from the renowned singer, Mehdi Hassan.
Pervaiz sang scores of songs and earned his name as a melodious singer at home and abroad.
His father Bashir Hussain Rahi was a prominent Lok singer.
Pervaiz Mehdi died in 2006 in Lahore.
