Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has accepted the nomination papers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) Yasmeen Rashid for the election by-polls of NA 120.
“We have raised 25 objections over Kulsoom Nawaz’s nomination papers,” she said later, addressing the media. She says that PML-N’s Kulsoom Nawaz had not properly completed the submitted nomination papers and that she had not mentioned her salary in the nomination papers just like her husband, Nawaz Sharif.
The other candidate, PML-N’s Kulsoom Nawaz is on her way to London, she’ll come back on the 24th of September, according to reports. She was required to appear before the ECP for an inquiry over her documents.
Yasmin Rashid says that the PML-N is trying to control the situation from London as they did before.
She reiterated that the PTI doesn’t buy votes, but goes to the public for them.
