The Indian blind cricket team is likely to tour Pakistan to play their counterparts in November. According to Yousaf Haroon, general manager Pakistan Blind Cricket Council, a delegation of the PBCC comprising Haroon, Syed Sultan Shah (Chairman) and Khalil Ahmad (Director International Affairs) on Friday met with S.P Nagesh (President) and Mahantesh G.K (Secretary) of Cricket Association of the Blind India (CABI) in Ajman (UAE) and jointly declared that the Indian blind cricket team will tour Pakistan in November for a series of three One-day Internationals and three Twenty20s.
The delegates felt that this initiative would strengthen ties between both nations, he added. Haroon said that cricket was a mania for people in both Pakistan and India and the visually challenged were no exceptions. Like regular cricket, this form of cricket is closely followed. Such bilateral series would take place at least once a year, he added.
