1kg of heroin recovered from passenger at Islamabad airport

ISLAMABAD: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) on Saturday foiled a drugs smuggling bid by recovering 1kg heroin at Benazir Bhutto International Airport.

According to ANF sources, passenger Ziafat Ali, a resident of Hangu, came to the Islamabad airport for going to Saudi Arabia and during the search, heroin was found.  The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) also arrested two other smugglers identified as Junaid, a resident of Swabi, and Faisal, a resident of Shahngla and recovered 40 heroin capsules from their custody.

Faisal and Junaid were to proceed to Abu Dhabi.
