CJP forms two benches for next week

Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Mian Saqib Nisar has constituted two benches at the principal seat to hear a number of important cases during the next week, starting from Tuesday, August 15.

The first bench would comprise Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar, Justice Mushir Alam and Justice Sardar Tariq Masood while the second bench would consist of Justice Asif Saeed Khan Khosa, Justice Dost Muhammad Khan and Justice Qazi Faez Isa.

The benches would hear the cases including educational institutions matters, appeals against death sentences and Islamabad Capital Territory Private Educational Institutions Regulator Authority (ICT-PEIRA) v. Roots International Schools (Private) Ltd and others regarding renewal of registration of schools.

According to cause lists, no adjournment on any ground will be granted and no application for adjournment through fax will be placed before the court.

Furthermore, if the counsel is unable to appear for any reason, the Advocate-on-Record will be required to argue the case.
