— PTI vice chairman says ex-PM ‘teaching’ participants of PML-N rally to rebel against Supreme Court

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that Nawaz Sharif is undermining the democratic norms by promoting wrong traditions.

“At the behest of Nawaz Sharif, the participants of the GT road rally have said, in categorical term, that they don’t accept court’s verdict about his disqualification. It is a direct onslaught on constitution. Nawaz Sharif is causing harm to democratic norms by promoting wrong traditions,” he said this while talking to the media on Thursday.

“This move will spawn disaster rather than bringing any betterment in the situation,” he remarked. The PTI vice chairman added that Nawaz should review his attitude, otherwise his rally will be the cause of chaos in the country.

Meanwhile, PTI Leader and MNA Dr Shireen Mazari said that National Assembly (NA) Deputy Speaker Murtaza Javed Abbasi’s statements against Imran Khan does not suit him. Speaking at a point of order, she said that the deputy speaker’s statement during the rally were not according to his slot.

Murtaza Javed Abbasi said that such type of talks are often held in the media, adding that the matter has been resolved and he had issued a rebuttal, in this regard.
