Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan took to Twitter to give his two cents about Nawaz Sharif’s ongoing ‘homecoming rally’ that kicked off in Islamabad on Wednesday.
Referring to Nawaz Sharif’s address at Sohawa, he said that speaking from a bullet proof car doesn’t inspire confidence in already-dwindling crowds.
Speaking from a bulletproof car doesnt inspire confidence in already-dwindling crowds. If you fear death you shdnt undertake “ppl’s” rallies

He also said that Nawaz Sharif cannot understand the dynamics of populist politics and that rent-a-crowd methods do not make one into a leader of the people.

Earlier, in a series of tweets, the PTI leader said, that his advice to Nawaz Sharif on his ‘corruption Bachao’ rally would be that although NS could blame the umpires, the pitch, the weather, even some of his own party members, for what has happened to him. But the truth is that, in the end, Nawaz Sharif can’t avoid the sinking feeling that the game is over and he has lost.
My advice to NS on his Corruption Bachao rally: You can blame the umpires, the pitch, the weather, some of your players;

He went on to say that Nawaz Sharif will eventually realise that the number of people listening to his excuses of poor umpiring is decreasing exponentially.
And you will also realise there is a downward trend in the no of people listening to your excuses of poor umpiring. https://t.co/IMmyQGp3Vs

Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif began the second day of his rally as he left the Punjab camp house for Lahore today.
On Wednesday, the ousted prime minister and the current chief of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), began his rally from the Punjab House, Islamabad after deciding to go home to Lahore via the GT Road earlier.
Nawaz Sharif was disqualified as prime minister by the Supreme Court on July 28 in its verdict in the Panama Papers case.
