KARACHI: An accountability court (ATC) on Wednesday adjourned the hearing of Rs 462 billion corruption case against former Petroleum Minister Dr Asim Hussain and others till August 16.
On Tuesday, Dr Asim’s counsel asked the court for time for comparing the documents with the index.
Dr Asim and Athar Hussain appeared in the court, while witness Muhammad Akram and the investigation officer appeared on behalf of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
The court adjourned the hearing of the case till August 16 after saying that it intends to hear the case on a daily basis. The court has also directed the counsels of all the suspects to ensure their presence so that it could hear the case regularly.
