After a meeting of the Board of Governors of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Wednesday held at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) Lahore, it was announced that Najam Sethi had been elected as the chairman of the board unopposed.
Sethi had been appointed by the former prime minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif to be the chairmanship of PCB along with Arif Ejaz. Arif had assisted the newly-elected chairman in Pakistan Super League (PSL) as well and wasn’t been seen as a threat.
It is pertinent to mention that Najam Sethi is also the chairperson of PSL, and will now hold both the posts.
