ISLAMABAD: Islamabad district administration has allowed the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to hold a public gathering at Parade Ground this Sunday.
The PTI is all set to celebrate the Supreme Court verdict on Panama case which disqualified Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on incomplete disclosure of assets. PTI chief Imran Khan declared to welcome Sunday as Youm-e-Tashakur.
Earlier, the PTI had sought permission from the deputy commissioner Islamabad and requested to hold a rally at their desired spot. The application stated, “It is therefore requested to your good self to kindly grant permission for this gathering and pass necessary orders for appropriate action.”
The permission has been granted on Saturday with additional directions.
PTI had been told to wrap their rally at the Parade Ground before 11 pm. They have been told to form a separate enclosure for women and prepare for special security measures inside the rally.

The security arrangements outside the rally will be ensured by federal police and FC officials.
