International Finance Corporation (IFC), a subsidiary of the World Bank, is organising a series of consultative sessions for women in Karachi and Lahore on gender sensitization in the field of alternate dispute resolution. Two workshops in this connection will be held at the Avari Hotel on May 13 and 14, respectively.
These sessions are being organised in association with the New World Concepts, based at Karachi, in furtherance of the Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADR) project aimed at minimizing litigation. Women entrepreneurs will participate in the workshop on May 13, while academicians from local universities and colleges, focusing on law and business schools, will attend the workshop on May 14.
