LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Ameer Sirajul Haq, on Sunday, said that the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) report had further exposed the rulers. He was talking to different delegations on a visit to Mansoora. Every page of the JIT report mentioned the rulers’ wealth but did not explain the sources of their earning and it seemed the rulers had Aladdin’s lamp which helped them mint money.

Addressing the participants of the JI central workshop, Secretary General Liaquat Baloch has said that the entire government machinery is engaged in efforts to prove Nawaz Sharif innocent. Baloch said that the ministers of the ruling party were busy in the defence of the prime minister and his family and were not even performing their official duties.
He said the rulers were crying that democracy was in danger whereas the ruler themselves were the real threat to the democratic system. He said that after the JIT report, the prime minister should have had stepped down.
