SC forms three benches for next week

Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Mian Saqib Nisar on Friday constituted three benches at the principal seat to hear a number of important cases during the next week starting from Monday (July 17).

The first bench is comprised of Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar and Justice Umar Ata Bandial, second bench consists of Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan, Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed and Justice Ijaz-ul-Ahsan. The third bench comprised of Justice Manzoor Ahmad Malik and Justice Mazhar Alam Khan Miankhel.

It is pertinent to mention here that the court would hear a number of important cases including Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) employees’ petition seeking regularization of service, Panama case and bail matters of different accused.

According to cause lists, no adjournment on any ground will be granted and no application for adjournment through fax will be placed before the court. If the counsel is unable to appear for any reason, the advocate-on-record will be required to argue the case.
