At least three people were killed while one was injured over an old enmity at village Hanjar Kalan in the jurisdiction of Sarai Mughal Police Station. Reportedly, 11 armed people, Khalil Ahmed, Aas Muhammad, Aslam, Sakhawat, Saeed, Hanif, Sahib Khan and four others, entered the house of Roop Khan and opened indiscriminate firing on them. As a result, Roop Khan, Ajmal Khan and Rafaqat Ali Khan were killed instantly while Azam was injured seriously and rushed to Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital Pattoki.
CASH LOOTED, BANK CASHIER INJURED: Bandits injured a bank cashier and a security guard for offering resistance during a dacoity bid and snatched Rs 500,000 from them at Shahbaz Khan Road in the jurisdiction of A Division Police Station. Reportedly, cashier Shoukat Ali and security guard Azam were going on a motorcycle to deposit cash in the bank when two robbers stopped them, snatched Rs 500,000 and injured them for offering resistance. Both of them were admitted to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital Kasur.
