ISLAMABAD: Pakistan International Airline (PIA) has decided to allott business class seats to the senior citizens and aged-pilgrims during the Hajj operations.

It was decided during a high-level meeting on Wednesday with PM’s Advisor on Aviation Sardar Mehtab Ahmad Khan in the chair.

This decision would help senior citizens reaping the benefits of PIA’s extra facilities without additional charges.

Sardar Mehtab directed the PIA chief commercial officer to ensure the provision of business class seats to the aged pilgrims on a priority basis, and labelled discretionary powers to allot business class seats as unreasonable. He assured that the pilgrims will be provided maximum facilities during the flights.

Federal Secretary for Aviation Irfan Elahi, senior PIA officials were also present at the meeting.
