Chinese construction company to reconstruct Lahore Airport

BEIJING: A Chinese construction company is going to reconstruct the Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore, after winning a contract worth $382 million.

According to the Chinese newspaper Peoples Daily, the contract worth $382 was awarded to China Construction company, Third Engineering Bureau. It has been planned that this airport will officially be the largest once it is re-constructed.

Several projects in Pakistan, including Karachi-Lahore Motorway’s section Sukkur and Multan, Arfa Software Technology Park in Lahore and The Centaurus Hotel in Islamabad were all undertaken by the Third Engineering Bureau.
