ISLAMABAD: Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) announced a series of events for July 13, 2017 to mark 50 years of its establishment.
The major event of cake cutting ceremony would be held at the campus alongside a day long funfair. Stalls of the university students, departments, civil society organisations, embassies and food court would be established.
The event would also include the inauguration of Quaid-i-Azam Corner in the central library and dramatic performances by the students in the Geophysics auditorium. The university would also host a musical evening organised by the QAU alumni association. A large number of alumni, diplomats, government officials and students from across the country will participate in the events.
Quaid-i-Azam University has invited its family of students, faculty and alumni to join and celebrate its 50 remarkable years on July 13, 2017. A number of activities, as a continuation of the celebration, have been planned for the year ahead.
