ISLAMABAD: The groundbreaking ceremony of Aviation City and Air University Aerospace & Aviation Campus was held at Pakistan Aeronautical Complex Kamra.
Planning, Development and Reforms Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal was the chief guest of the ceremony. Pakistan Air Force Air Staff Chief Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman was also present at the occasion.
Ahsan Iqbal and Sohail Aman unveiled the plaque for the groundbreaking ceremony of Aviation City and Air University Aerospace and Aviation Campus.
Former Air Chiefs Dr Mukthar Ahmed, Higher Education Commission (HEC) Chairman and Air University Vice Chancellor Air Vice Marshal (r) Faaiz Amir, and high-ranking civil and military officials also attended the ceremony.
The Aviation City would house various hi-tech and state of the art academic, research and development institutes which would pave way for achieving everlasting self-reliance in the field of the aviation industry.
