ISLAMABAD: The senior leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Shafqat Mehmood claimed that JIT members and other concerning state employees are being threatened by the rulers, who are trying to pressurise them.

Addressing joint press conference with other party leaders in Islamabad, Shafqat said that JIT is being attacked aggressively by the ministers and rulers to create panic among them.

“If this investigation comes to its logical end then the powerful could never escape from accountability in future,” he said adding that the issue here is the democracy and not civil regime.

“Hussain Nawaz is the heir of billion of rupees but doesn’t have the sources of income, therefore he has to inform the nation where such a huge amount came from” PTI alleged.

He accused that Ishaq Dar should also clear as to how he became a billionaire. He said when Dar came out after appearing before JIT, his fiery temper made it clear that the JIT had grilled him.
