KARACHI: The Sindh government has withdrawn security of Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) convener Dr Farooq Sattar and members of national and provincial assembly associated with the party.

The MQM spokesman said that security from Farooq Sattar was withdrawn during a corner meeting of PS-114.

He said that the Sindh government has also withdrawn security of the members of National and Sindh Assembly.

Moreover, he said that security from Opposition Leader Khawaja Izharul Hasan has also been taken back.

The MQM Pakistan spokesman did not mention the reason for withdrawing security from the said leaders

While lashing out at the Sindh government, Khawaja Izhar has warned the government to refrain from such tactics. He made it clear that the Sindh chief minister will be responsible in case of any untoward incident.

He said his party will also contact the court against the repealing of NAB ordinance.
