PESHAWAR: Information and Broadcasting State Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb said on Thursday that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has presented his entire family for accountability after allegations were levelled against him.
Speaking at the “Meet the Press” conference on Thursday afternoon, she said opponents who are calling for accountability stand with the ‘kings of corruption’.
She alleged that Imran Khan`s money trail for a purchase of the Bani Gala property only appears on social media but has not been presented before the courts.
Referring to the recent Parachinar blasts, she said it is wrong to give a sectarian colour to the attacks in Parachinar, and through a specific agenda sectarianism is being promoted on social media in the name of Parachinar affectees.
NATION GRIEVES PARACHINAR ATTACK: A condolence reference chaired by Marriyum Aurangzeb was also held.
On the occasion, Fateha was offered for those killed in recent terror attacks in Parachinar and Quetta, as well as, victims of Bahawalpur oil tanker tragedy.
Speaking on the occasion, the state minister said that the entire nation shares the grief of the affected families.
It was attended by Information Secretary Ahmad Nawaz Sukhera and other high ranking officials of the ministry.
